Traditional & Modern Techniques

Internal solid plastering: Internal plastering is the covering of ceilings and walls with any one or more of a variety of materials to provide a sound, flat, smooth surface for decoration. A well finished surface may be the only decoration needed. As well as providing a base for decoration, plastering will also help to improve sound and thermal insulation and fire resistance.

Tyrolean: Tyrolean finish is an exterior rough finish whose name originates from the traditional alpine building process and gives a weathered look to walls. Tyrolean is a traditional finish in the UK and is available in different colours. If applied properly, Tyrolean finishes resist cracking unlike plaster and cement finishes. Tyrolean finishes resist rain and snow and provide some insulation for both temperature and sound.
